We recently closed on the purchase of our next flip project! Below are the before pictures and recent pictures after demo was completed. This home is located in the Pocket/Greenhaven area of Sacramento and is close to downtown and the river. It is in need of some TLC, but has a ton of potential. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, is 1,655 sq ft, and has a large private yard along the canal. We expect renovations to take 6-8 weeks. We will be replacing the kitchen, bathroom, some windows, doors, every fixture, new flooring throughout, and installing a new roof. The backyard is private, well landscaped, and just needs to be cleaned up. We look forward to updating this wonderful home for a new family and are ready for demo to start immediately!
This home belonged to a client. It was in need of repair and they preferred to sell it as-is without any repairs. Knowing that the only interested buyers would likely be investors we made an offer which our clients accepted. Escrow closed the first week in May.

This Pocket/Greenhaven Sacramento home was built in 1983 and needs some love. We are looking forward to updating this home! The interior was updated 10-20 years ago, there is quite a bit of dry rot on the exterior, the roof needs to be replaced, several windows and most of the doors need to be replaced, the yard needs to be cleaned up and the fences repaired. We will also completely remodel the interior of the home.

Having been in real estate for over seven years and having built a very successful Real Estate Sales Business I have always had an interest in investing in real estate. During that time I have watched my peers and clients successfully flip homes and make good money doing it. My wife Kristina and I planned and prepared for nearly two years in order to start flipping homes to fund our retirement. Most of that time was spent saving funds for the capital necessary to purchase and renovate homes. Being self employed it is important to plan according for retirement. Our particular retirement plan is to flip homes and use the proceeds to purchase homes and multifamily properties to hold for rental income which will eventually be our retirement income. Every penny we make from flipping and the eventual rental income we receive will be reinvested back into purchasing more properties to hold. We plan to build a real estate portfolio which will leave a lasting legacy for our family. We flipped our first property in 2014 and we plan to purchase our first rental property in 2017.
